I recently got my Para 2 and couldn't have been more happy. It was lightning fast and locked up solid. After flicking it open quite a few times, I began to hear a squeaking noise from the pivot. Now I can't flick it at all, and the lock is extremely stiff. It is extremely disappointing as you might imagine. Does anyone have any suggestions on a possible fix?

The fix is to send it in to Spyderco for repair, unless it is a Chinese knock-off.

Often compression locks benefit from what has become quite well known as the " stop pin trick".
Loosen and rotate the stop pin a quarter turn and then re-snug with your torx driver. Lube and adjust your pivot screw as well. All this is just routine maintenance for dialing it in as it breaks in. Lots of info on the net regarding this subject also.
Best...

Post pics here first. I hate to say it, but their is a possibility it could be a fake. Might as well confirm yes/no and then go from there.

I think I'll send it in to Spyderco. I got it from a very reputable dealer so I doubt it's a fake.

I was tightening the pivot screw and I accidentally shredded the head a little bit. Do you guys think if I send it in they'll put a new pivot screw in there too?

They make the PM2 right there so I'm assuming they'll throw a new screw in if you ask politely.

There is this stuff called oil that you might want to look into. Its really magical what a lubricant can do for a pivot.

very funny...sending knives in sucks. wash well with water put some oil on the pivot. as said couple posts up turn the stop in 90 degrees. seems like a strange fix i know but it has worked for me in the past. if you wan your knife mint send it in. best of luck and happy easter.
