I just recieved a digicam paramilitary 2 (no coating) and noticed it only has Eric's mark behind the hole with no mark for Sal. Does anybody else have one with just Eric's mark?

Just curious. The knife is superb in every other regard. I couldn't be more pleased.

I just recieved mine, digicam paramilitary2, satin uncoated blade, and mine has Eric's mark on one side of the hole, and Sal's on the other. I remember seeing a pic of someone else's where both marks were on the same side, so it seems there is some variance.

Agreed, the knife is an unreal bargain and is superb. Just finished making a Ti lowrider clip for it, as that was in my opinion the only room for improvement.

Intersting. I checked both sides and I no Sal mark, not that I care too much.

You are right, this knife is outstanding. I now know what everyone has been talking about. I resisted the para 1 for many years because it was tip-down only. I almost caved quite a few times, but I'm glad I waited. The para 2 is kind of like a stretch 2 but with the sweet compression lock, g-10, and a pointier blade. I think I like the handle on the stretch a little bit better, but it is still too early to tell.

My stock para 2 has Sal's to the rift og the hole and Eric's to the left. Both on the back.

Can you post a picture?

Iam pretty sure I've read reports of other P2s with this "feature." :) There was a similar situation with some of the very early Gayle Bradley folders (no GB logo). I am sure Spyderco would add the missing mark if you return it to them - call Spyderco W&R if you are interested to find out.
