Paramilitary 2 new version?

What's this about a 2010 model "new" slimmer handles and more streamlined? How can I tell the difference between the 2?

There is an older paramilitary (not paramilitary 2, just paramilitary) that is the predecessor to the paramilitary 2. Very similar, but has the more unorthodox clip from the military line, and a few other changes. Perhaps what you are referencing is the change from the original paramilitary to the newer what we know today paramilitary 2?

I'm not sure I know about the first and second but I was reading somewhere " this is the new 2010 redesigned paramilitary 2 with streamlined no snag and thinner handle"

The no snag is reffering to the blade tang when closed. The original paramilitary had an awful pertrution and could get snagged on pockets. Now the pm2 has the tang flush to the handle when closed.

I got my paramilitary 2 yesterday and i love it. The new features are 4 way cArry, compression lock, thinner and lighter. Also the dlc coating is kick ass!

No, the first one is called the Paramilitary; the revised one is the Paramilitary 2. Look at the blade up by the tang...when closed and you can tell. Here is a Google for the original. Then look up a pic for the "PM2" as it's often called.

Stainless. Thats what I have. People warm up to it more than a black blade. Plus it looks cleaner.
