One of the Captains in the Fire Department I work in is also an independent dealer of Spyderco knives. I asked him when the PM2 would be in stock and he said that Spyderco will not be shipping out any PM2's out to distributors until February or March 2014. Just FYI
 
Man, they just can't figure out the supply here. Glad I ordered mine. I paid to much, but it looks like that's now the going rate in the near future. I should have ordered 2 years ago when everyone told me to.

can that be true? Sal said over in the Spyderco forums that they are going out all the time.
 
I suppose they could be out sooner, but I placed my order today and thats what I was told. I honestly hope it is sooner, Ive been wanting one for a while.
 
Nationalknives.com seems to keep geting them In stock , they had all basic versions in last time I checked
 
Man. I'm glad I snagged one up the other day. It's the all black one to go with my black/satin one. I got a great deal too. Just signed up for several in stock notification emails. They are out there.
 
I really hope that isn't true..........I'm just $5-$30 (depending where I get it) away from being able to afford one :(
 
CS just got a small batch a few days ago. They were gone in about 25 minutes of Jeff posting notice on FB (I know because I got the last one :cool:).
 
I've heard the US factory is overburdened so if they want to take time off for the holidays to spend with family, well, more power to em..they deserve it.
 
I emailed Spyderco and it sounds like they are not stopping production or stopping delivery on them. They said that they are getting them out as fast as they can but they still can't keep up with all the orders and that is the reason they are hard to find. So no worries :) And in other good news National Knives has the all black PM2 and the satin/digi cam PM2 in stock right now :D I was able to get my grail (the all black one) finally :D
 
It seems like many places get them in stock all the time still even this week. Certain places get them a couple times a month.
 
I'd put more stock in what I read from Sal than just some random unknown dealer.
