Paramilitary 2 or hogue ex03

I recently ordered a paramilitary 2, the tracker says it delivered but I don't have it, looks like it might be lost and I'll probably have the funds returned as credit to the store.

But after I ordered the para, I've been eyeing the hogue ex03 because of its button lock;
Anybody that owns both that can give their thoughts?

Thanks

I just went through the same exact decision. Went with the Para 2, I didn't have one yet, and compared to the Hogue it just looked like it would get much more pocket time.

I'm super glad I went with the Para2, just an amazing blade that's so easy to carry.

Yeah, I was just considering the hogue cause I'm itching to try a button lock but I'd still be happy trying out the compression lock. Though I am also eyeing the microtech socom delta in ats34

I would take a ex01 in aluminum over a Para 2 but I would take a Para 2 over an ex03.

I actually really want to try an ex02 and ex04

Yeah, the Hogues are actually really awesome. But just super thick and almost worthless if you want to do a lot of cutting. The PM2 on the other hand is actually a pretty good cutter for a "tactical" or modern folder.

I like both of the knives and would go with the para 2 just from experience. I like the handles and the smoothness but from everything I hear the Hogue is a great knife. Only got to handle the hogue at the gunshow, good blade shape and handle, I like the button lock and would choose the hogue if it was an auto or flipper.

Thanks guys, I'll stick with the pm2; don't think I can justify another 200$ for the microtech after getting a sm sebbie :B

I have the PM2 and a Hogue EX02.

PM2 gets a lot more pocket time.

BM 940 is still king though.

PM2 is the trump-card. Anything else is tiddlywinks. The compression lock was invented by a knife-god (in my rather modest opinion)...no offense to GOD.
