Looking for a paramilitary 2 recommendation. It will be an everyday carrier so didn't know if I should splurge for a natural handle or dlc coatings or a certain steel. Thanks!

If you're looking for sales offers, you want the Wanted to Buy section of the Exchange. If you want discussion, you're in an acceptable place (you could also use the Spyderco forum).
For PM2 choices, your wording confused me. Natural handle? I have one in bone, and one in wood - natural handles - and both are great options. DLC? That's your choice... I'm basically over the black blade thing; but there are still a few that a carry. Steel choices - there are many...but most involve purchase in a limited timeframe or going secondary market. My 3 favorites are 52100, M4, and Cruwear... but there's nothing wrong with what's available as regular stock (s30v and s110v).

(You might want to remove the first part of your post, and put it in the exchange)

By natural handle my meant the G10 "Jade". Some call it natural because there is no dye in it. I really like the brown handle satin finish. I believe it comes in s35v. I will move the first part of my post, thanks!

Here on exchange can usually be found lnib uncoated digicam versions for $105. I’ve bought 2 as gifts, and they were brand new as far as I could tell. S110v does cut for a very long time before resharpening is necessary. S30v and s110v are the only pm2’s I currently own, as my large hands prefer the Military.

s110v ti scales... enough said.

You can't go wrong with any PM2. Pick one you like, the G10 scales are excellent and all of the PM2 steels are very good.

I've had a bunch loved them all but the 52100 stole the show for me. Love the cf scales and that 52100 sharpens very easy and looks sweet with a nice patina

My favorite user pm2 is the knifeworks M4 and carbon fiber sprint run. If you find one in the exchange I recommend highly. Iirc blade hq had one with jade g10 but I hate that jade g10 stuff. Looks ugly on knives. But whatever floats your boat, it'll be yours not mine.

M4 is not stainless. But it is very tough steel. Good edge retention and stability. Not easy to sharpen unless you have diamonds or cbn. I oil my blade because it's not stainless. I've staved off any patina due to this. But some people force patina cause it really looks nice.

Of you want stainless m390, s35vn are two great options.

Also can't knock on the standard s30v. It's indistinguishable from s35vn for most people. S35vn is probably a bit easier to sharpen and has a bit better edge stability due to the addition of niobium. But edge retention is near identical with 35 edging it out slightly.

Dlc is up to you. It does add drag when cutting. It can scratch up and or wear. But some people love that look as it's a user and looks like they used it. I'm not a huge fan of Dlc or black coatings in general. But doesn't really bother me either.

Get a used S30V off the Exchange, see if you like the ergos/blade/lock. If you do, sell that base one on and get yourself a fancier version.

This. ^

Of course a base PM2 is one of the best EDC knives you can find.

Spyderco has sold thousands of the basic PM2 in S30V for a bit over $100 at our forum-supporting knife-shops. I have owned many different steels in this model, but would suggest the basic model with G10 grips for your use. I don't think anyone has ever complained...

Here's my work EDC. Love it in titanium. Wish I had an upgraded steel but the S30V is doing me just fine for now. Can't go wrong with a PM2.

Agreed. I tend to like the digicam scales.
