Hi,
simple facts which makes this knife unique and a "must have".
Here are my praises:
1-full belly blade with a pointy blade - useful in all situations from eye surgery to start a fire...
2-FFG - This is now a trademark of hardchore folder especially with a tappered 4mm blade.
3-in house engineered great lock - Mine are sticky but I lock them that way. There is now play lateral or vertical...
4-A thoughful concept since the C36 - Thought as a reliable tough tool. The new para kicked my good old millie out of my pocket.
5- Eric & Sal signatures on the blade which means a lot ! This is a transgenerationnal design.
6-top notch QC a la Manix 2  - All my paramillies are high quality knives.
7- 15 years of Spyderco's improvement in one package... from the nested liners to the choil there are a lot of great features in one knife and a lot of details which are not seen by the E.L.U.
and list goes on.
My main issue with the Paramilitary 2 is the way it kicks my other Spydies from my EDC rotation. And the more I use it the more it grows on me.
Clipped in the waistband, I don't "feel" it like my C36 when I sit in my car.
Fast to get in action and fast to close and secure.
I'm certain, I'm not the only one to love this knife more and more.
Cheers

(The other Spyderco knife which is on the ascendant love curve is the mighty Bushcrafter. Using that knife on hard material and in the wood is pure joy...)
