I know that the clip is t6 and the scales are t8 and the pivot is t10. what i would like to know is what thread and length they are.

I know that that clip screws are 2-56 and body screws are 4-40. I'm not sure about the pivot though. Not sure about the length, however.

I changed the handle scales on mine and they are a bit thicker than the factory ones.

Why don't you check with the person who made the scales that are thicker than the originals what screws are required?
Knowing what size the screws that fit are won't help find the proper fit of longer screws.
