I just receive my first paramilitary 2 today! I search this forum to get ideas on a new EDC and the para seemed to be a favorite, so I gave it a shot. I can't say thank you enough to anyone who recommended this knife. I love the way it fits in my hand, the ease of opening, witch was expected, and the compression lock is awesome! This is my first experience with that type of lock and it's amazing. Closing thus knife with one hand couldn't be easier. Thanks again and y'all will probably be seeing me a lot more around here.

Nice choice, it's reputation led me to get one recently and I really like it, too.

They were right, weren't they?!

Congrats!

Just got my PM2 w/ black G10 and black blade in the mail last night! It is truly a work of art. I can't seem to wipe the smile off my face :)

Sweet! Glad you like it! I have considered getting a camo with black blade for my brother but am pretty sure ill end up keeping it...

ive been collecting for about 9 months.

got the camo handle plain blade pm2 through amazon a couple months ago. love the knife, don't even carry it, right now its just a collectable.

so well made. overpaid, got it for 155, but had to have it.

edc the lightweight manix2 with frn handle and sometimes the tenacious.

own 2 heavyweight manix,.1 mini grip, 1 kershaw rake, yojimbo, zt 350, superleaf, a sage....yep I've got a problem

Gods honest truth, Last week I went into an Army Navy store near me that sells knives. Not even to look at knives. I started looking at the many many many knives they had for sale. So I see this digi cam looking knife with a big round hole in the blade. I asked the sales man to take it out from behind the glass. Gods honest no lie truth......I could not leave the store unless that knife was coming with me. I had no clue at all that this knife is so popular. I actually just joined this forum because I have a Benchmade knife and now a Spyderco. I got the Benchmade as a gift last year and that is what gave me some interest or it lit some sort of fire. I realized that I could not stop looking at the Benchmade. I truly did not know how big of a following knives have.....now I know why. I feel that Paramilitary 2 called me into that store and made me purchase it. The guy behind the counter also said I got the last one. Now it is all making sense and I'm getting addicted. I can't wait to see what else calls me. Not sure what it is about this Spyderco Paramilitary 2.....I guess the designers hit a home run on it and many people agree. I started to read about the PM2 after I purchased it. I kid you all not....I had no clue it is so popular. So this was great to find out and it also makes me laugh to know I picked that one out of a few hundred they had in the store. Some were simply out of my price range......lol.

You should try a military next. I have both PM2 and a regular military in black/satin and digicam. I favor the military. Not by much though. I like the Walker liner lock better. The compression lock pinches sometimes.

Eh, you just wont make that mistake again. But ya personally i am of the opinion you carry a knife, be prepared to get cut.

And that edge on the PM2 defiantly helps.

100% believer. I'm becoming such a Spyderco fan! I'm already thinking "what's next?" Scary....

Like mwhich50 mentioned, try the Military next. The PM2 and Military are my all time favs, I love them even better than the Sebenza.

Great purchase, love my camo and coated blade PM2. Mine has a slightly stiff action but I prefer that so it'll break in but still clean one hand open and close. Factory edge is still nice and sharp after daily use and heavier cutting duties such as rubber hose and twine, not a single complaint. Best EDC I have, would love a Military someday to compare.
