Paramilitary blade thickness

I remember Sal mentioned it will be 3 mm thick blade. Would making it 4 mm ruin a lot of its cutting performance? Since it's a flat ground blade, wouldn't it rather add more rigidity and power than comprimise its cutting capability?
Of course, it will make Paramili a stout little knife and I would LOVE it. I'm sure some of you will, too.

Just want to have a Paramili in that thick blade hopefully

the para is supposed to be a shorter version of the military, which currently has a 4" blade.

AxeMan, that's just a regular CF Delica that i did some custom work on. its my first attempt at customizing a knife, i was quite pleased with the results

check out this link for some other pics of my knife, it kinda shows off the blade a bit better than the link in my sig. this link was phase 1, it didnt have the spyder logo in the handle yet.

According to the 2004 catalogue, the Paramilitary has a blade thickness of 4mm.

I read a thread from Sal on the paramilitary - and I believe he said it was in everyway the same as the military only smaller in length. I think the blade length is around 3.25. I can't wait for this knife!
