Yesterday, I went to a gun show with the hopes of finding either a Para or a Manix. I came across a Para, but no Manix
, and after handling it for a while, decided against buying it. I've been carrying a Military for the past 2-3 years and was kind of excited to see a scale down version that I could use for nonwork carry.
In the end, though, it just didn't suit me. I remember reading someone's post that the Military design is best executed in the full sized Millie than the Para. IMO, I agree.
The Manix, however, is a Spydie that I've seen in pics next to a Millie and I believe that this is one solid knife. I hope to pick one up as soon as I can. I'm curious though, how does the lock strength of the Manix compare to the Chinook?
Opinions?
