I really like this folder. I bought one a few weeks back and was impressed at how sharp it was out of the box. I've use it to skin 3 deer and the edge stayed hair popping sharp just with minimal stropping. Well the other day while hanging Christmas stuff I used it to cut some ribbon. I didn't know the ribbon had wire in it. I checked the edge and it had lost a little bite, so I went and stropped it. That took away all of the bite so I decided to hone it a little. 5 minutes on a flat Spyderco fine stone and it's sharper than before. I'm really impressed with the knife. I wish it had full liners, but I think they took care of that with the P2. The lock is different from what I'm used to, but I find it easy to close by holding in the lock bar and snapping the blade shut. I had STR put a tip up clip on it.

Show off! (the deer)

:p

Just kidding, of course. The Para is a favorite of mine too! I'm not worried about the partial liners one bit.

I just bought Stretch CF. I hope I like it as much as the para. I bought the para to take out in the woods with me hunting. If I lose it, it's cheaper to replace than my zaan. Man that thing cuts things with no effort and stays very grippy when wet. It also cleans easily too. I just ran hot water over it, wiped it down and it's good to go. I'm impressed with the heat treat of their S30v. That deer's rack is deceiving, he's only a little over 15" wide. My son claimed it as soon as I got home.

What happened to the rest of that deer? does it have leprosy or something?

Funny, I did kill one a few years ago that was covered with huge deer warts. Very gross looking, it looked like it had leprosy. The rest of this is being made into jalapeno and cheese sausage.
