Beautiful collection of Wheelers. Thanks for the gorgeous Coop shots--the tightness of that mahogany grain on the Paranee fighter still blows me away. Congratulations Peter!

Terrific Wheeler collection Peter - and I know that's not all of them. Your Paranee piece rocks.

Nice!

Is this one going to be your daily carry, Peter? A classy guy like you ought to have something this fancy on him... ; )

Great group shot, too - I really love the lines of the other two fighters- the Peck award winner is one of my favorites from Nicky, and a source of inspiration.

Lovely group shot....the Paranee fighter turned out spectacularly!

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Beautiful Photos Coop. The back ground is superb. Very tasty....

 Great fighter,is not pleasant to be in front of the knife with the tip so threatening!
Paranee fighter is refers to Joe Paranee?

So that's what my knives look like when a PROFESSIONAL shoots the image!!! ;) :D

Awesome photos, thank you Peter for having it done, and thank you Coop for providing such a great service!!!

And thank you to everyone here for the kind words. I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!

***Looking at that group photo makes me think there should be a knife that has the blade length of the big knife, the blade profile of the Paranee fighter, and the ladder pattern on the Blackwood knife! ;) ***

I thought it would be interesting to turn Coop loose on some blasted briar.
At the risk of hijacking my own thread, here are some of the results.

The knife is okay but the pipes are outstanding :)

Peter my dear friend I would like to nominate your and I feel silly calling it this Paranee Figther as the representative of the group to be entered in The Best Bowie of the year thread

in past times I would have questioned this knife being a Bowie but in a recent book I just read it seems that a lot of Bowies this size where used in many of the stories recanted in the book by some very famous characters

It's at least a gentlemens Bowie , a true small dog with a big dogs bite

Congrats on a great knife buddy

Hey Joe - great minds think alike - I was just chatting with Peter about the same thing. We thought that as with the Jason's Founders knives, the series should be nominated collectively, but with the Paranee both Coop images could be shown, reflecting both the most all-business and the fanciest members of the group.

Roger

PS - those pipe pics are cool (I so don't need another expensive hobby...)

If somebody had told be that mahogany would turn out so nice...well, you know the story. Just a wonderful fighter, Peter! And, Coop's image on it is superb. Makes the owner want to light up one of those fancy pipes, I would imagine. :D

They were often referred to as "Vest Bowies".

Great group of knives, definitely recognizable as "Wheeler's". Cool pipes!
