I just finished this parang for a contest in W&SS...

5160 Mat'l forged from 1/4" stock
12" cutting edge
18" O.A.
Distal taper
Handle is backed with tooling leather, hemp wrapped and epoxy soaked.
10oz Veg tanned leathe sheath, Hand stitched, riveted and tooled. Includes belt frog.

I hope it fairs well in the testing.
