This is my interpretation of Scagel style.
If succesful - I don't know :p

steel - N695 by Bohler (440C) 3.5 mm (0.138")
length - 246 mm (9.685")
blade - 123 mm (4.842")
handle - brass, palisander, maple
sheath - leather

I really like the sheath and how it matches the handle on the knife. Blade shape is interesting in a cool way. Beautiful knife

I like it. The sheath looks geat and I love the use of brass for the guard and spacers.

I like it too, and I imagine even Scagel himself would've liked it. One thing he didn't like was straight lines. "There's no straight lines in nature" Scagel was reputed to have said.

Here's an original I photographed that illustrates the point, as does Bona's interesting and well executed interpretation:

it's a compelling piece of work.

Very, very nice! I can see the Scagel influence, but it's not a "copy" at all. Smooth and flowing are two words that come to mind right away. The way the handle and sheath designs compliment each other is exemplary.:thumbup::thumbup:

Oh, I almost forgot... it looks useful too! :)

 Sure is nice!

Nice sheath also.

Kind regards,

Jos
