I don't know if this is the best forum for this topic, but it's close enough. I was just at Knifezilla and I saw a knife which I really liked.
It's a German Paratrooper Knife. It's supposed to not open even under crash situations, but it can be deployed willingly with one hand. The design is also so that when it's opened the blade is longer than the handle, which I think is cool just for aesthetic reasons, but it's probably quite practical as well.

Knifezilla sure seems to be getting a lot of mention around these forums lately. I have no idea if the knives they sell have any quality what so ever or not, but I do not like the fact that just about everything in their lineup is a ripoff of high quality knives made by respected manufacturers. Jaguar and Master Steel are very blatant about it. They even give their knives the same names as those of the more well known manufacturers.

It may be cool and I guess it might be practical in certain circumstances. My problem is believing that that knife, selling for $13.95 on another site, is anything more than a piece of junk. Maybe I am wrong. Maybe when you have your knives made in China and Pakistan you get high quality for that price.

When I typed that, one thought came to mind; When pigs fly!

If you are really interested in buying one of these knives, check out the link below. They are selling it for less than Knifezilla. As a matter of fact I have seen all the knives that Knifezilla sell for far less on other sites.

Silliness quotient reached. Dubious achievment certificate is on it's way.
