Just picked one up. Nice knife - well built and very solid lockup with no blade play. My only question is the toggle - is there a technique for opening this thing fast? I see how its nice and safe and ambidextrous - I'm just not seeing how to get it open with any speed.

thanks for any tips!

on a side note - I picked up a Gerber mini paraframe as well (only 9.95 couldn't resist) Nice to see an all-torx frame lock with bronze washers for that $.

The Toggle lock can be opened like lightening once you get the hang of it. Just push down lightly and quickly on the toggle. I have a factory and a custom Joe pardue Toggle lock and both are as fast as any manuals I have ever handled.

push down?

maybe i don't get the whole toggle thing - I'm using it like a thumb stud and it seems if i flick it open the stud rotates around and catches/pinches my hand before locking...

thanks for the tips but call me captain confused. Oh well - maybe someone will take a pic or host a video some day. I think I own every style of one-hand opener - but this one just doesnt make sense to me. But it looks damn cool :D

never mind - i think i just got it - but I have to hold the knife so that the liner is down and blade swings up and out - NOT sideways like I usually open. I can do this very fast by pushing down on the toggle. COOL! :D
