Hey guys
This is the knife I put a new handle on. The pictures didn't turn out real good but I'd like any opinions you have.My mom has another knife she wants me to work on and I was wondring what everyone thinks about the shape of the handle and what to do differently this time. The handle is made of pieces of cherry and poplar that I ripped down into strips on a bandsaw and then laminated with titebond II water proof glue. I carved out a section in one side ffor the tang to fit in then I epoxied both sides togethr around the tang. I had marked and drilled the holes to match up with the preexisting holes form the old hand le and then I put 1/8" brass pins in and peened them down. To seal it I put on 6 coats of salad bowl finish.
