Made this paring knife on commission. See what you think.

Steel: Hand-forged 1080 with Japanese style clay hamon
Finish: hand sanded to 800 grit
Handle: Desert Ironwood burl with nickel-silver bolsters & pins
Length overall: 8 inches
Blade Length: 3 3/4 inches

Looks GREAT to me. I am totally untrained as a chef, but use my Henckels paring knife more than any other !

Thanks everyone. It was fun to make and the edge with is very narrow so its a great slicer (wicked on an onion). The client says they are very satisfied.
