Lightweight you say. . .. ????:)

Hmmmmmm . . . . ;)

I'm on it!

Let's drink!

Jerry :D

I don't know if he had the Park Ranger in mind, but this is the first time I have struggled with going back and ordering two more. Without holding this knife in hand it looks like Jerry nailed this one. I really like my S.O.B. for hunting/woodcraft blade, but it is just a little to big and heavy to carry on any distance hikes. I really believe for those of us who require a fixed blade, the Park Ranger is going to be perfection! Thank you Jerry for listening to your customers and providing such an awesome blade with so many blade, handle, and price options!

I ordered one and am very much looking forward to it. I do find it disappointing that we don't get to see better pics of the scales when a knife is offered though. It would be nice to know how thick the scales are.

i just wish it came out before i was heading up to the app. trail lol.

looks like it might easily become a favorite for me.

i was almost going to buy a SOB le second hand but decided to wait to see what jerry had cooked up. glad i did.

Shoot Amy an email.
Who knows what the Skunk works have produced already... I wouldn't be surprised if they made some black blade/black canvas or other common combos prior to the knife being released, knowing they would sell.

Also, what combo did you order, a common one (black blade/black or natural micarta), or one that is not so common (desert bronze/maroon micarta)?

If your trip is inside a month, I wouldn't count on an early delivery, but it wouldn't hurt to call the shop.

You would be on your own to get a sheath, probably...The sheath smiths probably won't.have theirs yet either

For an impromptu stand in, I would shoot an email to JooFuu sheath's and see what he has that will work. I am sure quite a few of the leather benders would have a pouch that should fit, just give them the dimensions that The Boss supplied in his original sales/teaser post.

The Fiddleback Forge Matriarch sheath fits a CPK EDC just fine.

ordered satin + red/black g10.

not in a huge rush for it, ill be taking a mean street ergo le i just acquired for the trip instead :D

Too heavy ? I dont think it would be... but than one of my most hiked with knives is .32 thick NMFSH lol
