Parker bros. ?

Recently found a lockblade knife made by parker bros. chattnooga (sp) tenn. but am very uncertain, inexperienced and uninformed on this maker. Can anyone enlighten me on this maker? Seems to be well made with a bone handle, also has a japan stamp on the steel?

That is one of the tang stamps used over the years by James F. PArker of Chattanoog, TN. He is a prominent knive dealer and author and now operates PArker's Knife Collectors Service and Bulldog Brand Knife Company. In past years ha has had many knives made in Japan; Parker Brothers is one of his rarer markings, in my experience.
