I recently purchased a "Parker-USA" Damascus steel folding lock blade hunter with stag scales in like new condition. When oiling the blade I noticed it was etched with "198X ABCA Limited Edition One of 2,500". I can't tell exactly what the year is it might be 84,88 or 89? Anyway, I was wondering if any of you Knife Nuts can tell me something about it? Any idea what "ABCA" could stand for? I know a little about the "Parker" history and was thinking this might be a "Fain Edwards" produced 512 layer damascus steel folder but I'm just guessing?!?!

Thanks!

I have a Parker-Edwards like that 1985 American Blade Collectors.

Thanks for the reply Phil! My knife does not look like your "Parker-Edwards" photo however. It looks more like your AG Russell "One Hander" photo but the stag scales on my Parker only cover about 2/3's of the handle. Even the blades are similar in design!
