Parker Edwards Clasp Knife GAW, Winner Chosen

Last fall I stopped at a yard sale just looking, the fellow asked if I was looking for anything and I told him I’m always looking for pocket knives and Zippo’s, he said that there was a box of knives, lighter and pens on one of the back tables and he went to show me but the box was empty. I moved some things around on the table and uncovered a knife and a Zippo. The knife was a big folder and the Zippo was well used but in okay condition. I can’t recall the price for the knife but it was less than $5 and he threw in the Zippo.

Now I knew nothing about the knife and I couldn’t find much information on it, but I posted it here and a few porch members added some much needed info. The knife is a Parker Edwards Clasp pattern knife, it’s in pretty good condition, but it a much bigger and heavier knife than I like to carry and I don’t like keeping things in a drawer that I’m not going to use.

The knife is 4” long closed with Sandbar Stag scales. The blade is 3 3/4” 512 Damascus steel. I will edit with the weight but for a knife this size it’s a chunk in your hand.
