Hello everyone!

Mailman dropped off this beauty today compeared Schrade 34OT. I heard Schrade was maker for Parker-Frosts. So far details are same in bolsters and scales though no Schrade stamps anywhere. Perhaps someone else knows better. However this is really solid large stockman:

It is an 8OT clone, but the swedge on the blade looks like a Camillus. Schrade, Camillus, and Imperial all swapped components in those days. The frame sure looks Schrade to me, and it's nice to see a black handle with silver nickel bolsters. Nice find for sure. There are a lot of these finding Ebay lately.

Yeah, lucky for us. It cuts really mean when slightly touched with fine ceramic rods. Spings are really tight and it has loudest snaps my slipjoints have had since Victorinox Pioneer Solo. I like it very much. Scales are indeed identical to Schrade's.

Hi,

A very nice one! I've never seen one of these before, so thanks for sharing it. It definitely has a Schrade look to it. But the long pull on the clip point and the swedge reminds me of Camillus for some reason. A very nice addition to your growing collection!

Thanks for confirming. These are USA made. I'm happy with this now I am waiting my Parker-Frost Trapper to arrive. I wonder if I should get same series Parker-Frost Muskrat too and medium lock back? Hmmm
