Parkerized\Black Oxide clips

Hey all,
What is the best way to get my hands on a parkerized\black oxide clip for a Mini-Griptilian? I'd like the standard style over the deep carry, like the kind that came on the Doug Ritter mini-grips. Thanks!
 
You can get black oxide clips by just asking for them. The parkerized ones(my favorite too) are out of commission I think. Last time I asked for one I got a black oxide. I wish I could snag up a back up for my mini Ritter.
 
Right on. I will try messaging customer service on the website. I wasn't sure if the "old" ritter mini grip clips were the same as what is currently offered. When I've seen pics of black oxide clips, they look the same to me as the Ritters did. Thanks McFeeli!
 
They are the same style of clip, just a different finish on em'. I know I especially like how well the parkerized clips look when they get worn. They take the beatings a lot better and age much cleaner too.

And of course it looks great on an orange Ritter, haha.
 
I haven’t had a painted clip in a while, I was beginning to think they parkerised as standard now, BENCHMADE USA clips are my fav
 
Well.....that was easy. Called the number on the website, told them I'd like a couple black oxide clips, gave them name and address, and they said they'd send them out. Wow. Pretty awesome. Didn't ask for proof of knife purchase or anything. Do other companies do this?

Depends on the company. It's one of the reasons I buy Benchmades though.
 
Just got my Mini Grip and it came with black oxide clip. Love it. A Ritter Mini Grip was my first knife. It's good to be back.
