Finally picked up a Para 3, and am loving it. I have big hands but don't like to carry more than ~3" blades, so the Para 3 works better for me than the Para 2. Only realy complaint I have is the how shallow the carry is. Not looking to start a huge debate on that - I know that is not an issue for some, but for me it is. I don't actually like my knives hidden with deep carry clips, but I don't like a lot of visible real estate. Also the long spoon clip is a bit of a hot spot as it comes on the Para 3 -- for me.
I'll say it: I don't love titanium deep carry clips. Again, personal preference, but for me they do not have great retention and I don't like my knife completely hidden - and at ~$25 bucks they are pricey. I've seen some modified BM deep carry clips put on Delicas, so I gave it shot with my Para 3. I got one of the new "parkerized" deep carry clips as BM installs on the 4600 Pheaton - for free. I modified it and it is working perfect for me so I thought I would share some pics. With the parked finish the butterfly logo isn't that noticable in daily carry. The retention of the steel, the finish, and the reasonable carry depth work good for me. And the clip has no hot spots when I hold it. YMMV.
