Parkerizing forge scale?

Hey guys, I was curious if parkerizing a brute de forge knife is a thing. Will the forge scale parkerize and get a consistent color with the ground steel?
Would you need to soak the knife in an acid to remove the black forge scale and then park it?
Would it be stable if you don’t remove the black scale first and just go right for the parkerizing of a brute de forge knife?

anyone have any experiences with this that can clue me in.
