Hello out there,

I am going to post this in the Canadian Connection Page as well.....

So, my wife and I are planning a trip this summer in and around the fine province of BC and into Alberta. Any Canadians out there familiar with the rules and regulations surounding the transportation of firearms through Provincial and National Parks, as well as to and from Alberta?

Thanks and have a good one!

IIRC In parks they have to be unloaded and encassed/locked or disassembled. basically keep them out of sight and it shouldn't be an issue.

I believe Flipincanadian is right about the National parks. From the Banff website: Firearms must remain in your vehicle at all times, unloaded, and in a case or wrapped and securely tied so that no part of the firearm is exposed.

As for BC provincial parks I believe it depends on the park. Some parks you can hunt in, so it would be best to do a Google search for the park you are wishing to travel to.

Keep them locked away and I don't think you'll have a problem.
