"Parley" in Devin Thomas Damascus, Ironwood Burl with Paul Long sheath
by Wayne Jarrett

This is a special order for one of my customers. I thought I'd post some homemade pics before shipping it off to Coop for some "real" photographs.

OAL: 11”
Blade: 6” X 1 1/4" wide at plunge cut; Flat Grind; 5/32" thick; tapered tang with spine "raised" above the scales as on my Bengal model.
Blade Steel: Devin Thomas Typhoon Damascus, triple tempered; heat treated in house to 58-59RC
File Work: Vine and Thorn "growing" to the front and the rear from a "flat" area where my makers mark is etched.
Handle: Premium, choice, exceptional, prime, select, and any other adjective you want to add, Desert Ironwood Burl; white spacer; thin cut and book matched Cocobolo liner.
Pins: 1/8" Custom made mosaic pins; 1/8" brass filled with 7 stainless steel tubes in approx 0.025" diameter.
Sheath: By Paul Long, Kerrville, TX. with Ostrich Leg Inlay
