Part 5 of the integral tutorial

Ron

Thank you for the lessons. Now I know what you went through to make my knife.
Great work.

Great work, Ron! I really can appreciate all the craftsmanship that goes into your knives and sheaths! Way back when you made me a recurve hunter, I raved to you about the 'click' as the knife slide into your sheath! Now I understand what makes that possible! Thanks for your entire tutorial series!:)

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Another great tutorial. I'm just started doing some leather sheaths, and that's exactly what I needed!

Ron, thank you very much for taking the time, to put this tuturiol together. Just to really put us in the maker's shoes, could you estimate how long this project would have taken, from starting to forge the blade, to actually putting it in the newly completed sheath. Great work :) !!!

Thanks guys, It was fun.
It`s hard to say exactly how long it would take me, but if I bust my butt, I may be able to to do the entire thing and sheath in 4 days. Not sure how many hours, as alot of the time is in annealing ( usually over night ), heat treating, tempering ( eats up about 6 hours or so ), and finishing. When I did my demonstration I managed to get one finished not including the sheath in the 2 1/2 days. The knife was then raffled off.
