Hi guys - new guy here. I've gotten a ton of good info lurking here for the past several months. Figured I'd show off a few of my favorite ZT's. I have quite a few knives, but more ZT than any other brand. Love the knives, the warranty, and the service I've always gotten from Kai.

My new ZT-9 bayonet with a ZT0301...had to add the ZT-9 to the collection when I learned they quit making it.

Customized 560 I bought on eBay with the so-called "dragon scale" anodize treatment. I added screws/standoffs. Warranty is probably shot, but at least they'll still sharpen it. :p

Another one I toasted the warranty on... custom CF scale, standoffs and stabilizer. I decided to go with a little blue after I picked up a Benchmade 940-1. Didn't even like the blue standoffs when I got the Benchmade, but they obviously grew on me. :-)

Thank you, and great question. Of those, I'd say the 0566CF is my favorite for EDC due to size. That said, I have a 562 and it's my favorite ZT in terms of overall size/function. I like the bigger folders, but generally don't carry anything larger than the 562 unless I know I'll be using a knife off and on all day (and I definitely have those days) and I think the larger size will make it easier.

My inner 13 year old favors that ZT-9, though. I always wanted a bayonet, but never had an excuse to buy one before. I can't stop messing with it and showing it to people. :D

How often do you EDC that snake? Does it have a good heat treat? :D

Thanks man! That looks great. I have a red/black kirinite scale sitting here that I was contemplating what to do with...you just confirmed a black blade is exactly what it needs. :-)
