Hi guys,
My wife bought be a 'big' knife as a gift and its a re-curve with a saber grind but there is a straight part near the hilt before the big belly kicks in and I was wondering if it would be possible to re-grind or file this to a scandi grind that transitions into the start of the belly which is sabre. I think there is a similar knife on the market called a woodsman or something similar. The purpose would be that scandi is great for wood work and the large part would save me bringing an hatchet as there is a good bit of weight in the blade when hiking/camping/bushcrafting. Anyone done something like this before or have any tipes would be great.
Thanks from Irealnd!
