Parts for Benchmade automatics?

I have two Benchmade 3550SBt automatic knives that have both crapped out on me over the years. I plan on taking one apart tomorrow, but I'm already certain that I will find a broken spring.
I would rather not go thru the hassle of going to an authorized dealer and having them ship to Benchmade, as Benchmade demands I do with an auto knife. I've done this once before, and it goes something like this: I drive to the dealer, and give them the knife and the $$ for shipping. Of course, they don't know exactly how much shipping will be, so I give them $10. I wait about a month, then get a phone call from my dealer. "Benchmade says the knife is not covered by warranty, and will cost $65 to fix. Do you want to have it fixed?" Well, yes, I do. SO I drive to my dealer with the money, they send it to Benchmade, two more months pass, and I get a phone call from the dealer. The knife is in, necessitating yet another drive to the dealer.
Granted, the knife works flawlessly, and they did sharpen it for me, but still.
Can anyone tell me where to find parts for these knives?

Perfect! Thanks.
Ordered springs today.

Last time, Benchmade said the knife had been oiled improperly by using the wrong lubricant, and had become too dirty, and that's why the spring broke.

It is true, I tend to oil my knives with whatever I may have on the jobsite when it starts to malfunction, or gets dropped in the dirt, but I feel that a knife is a tool, and should be used. If it can't take real world conditions, it's just a pretty bauble. I have a number of pretty baubles, but my autos are carry knives, and need to perform, not just look good.

Springs work-harden after many cycles, then they break.
