Are the Buck folks going to be there? This will be my first knife show. I'll have to thank my mother in law for e-mailing me the news.

I'm back from the Pasadena Knife Show. A lot of people were selling Buck's here and there. This was my first knife show so maybe it was more organized that it seemed to me. But I wasn't sure if Buck had it's own table or what. I did see the BCCI table.

I also saw a chip flint 124. Nice knife.

I ended up going home with a super nice 3" hand made Al Warren pocket knife with Ironwood scales and a S30V drop point blade. Even though it's not a Buck, here's a picture from the A.C. Warren website (actual photo of my knife).

That is a very nice looking folder! :) I have to ask, though - can that blade really be considered a drop-point??? I'm not being my usual anal-retentive self here...I'd like to know...I've seen that blade shape labeled elsewhere...but I forget as what...shovel-point or something like that???

I'm starting to fall in love with Ironwood...I understand it's made from a crippled detective's old wheelchair...

I asked if that is a drop point and Al said, "Yes." Also, the only knife literature I've read is the Knives 2007 catelog. It lables a lot of blades like this one as drop points.

What looks like a proper drop point to your eye? Post a picture if you can.
