Some of the private contacts I've gotten have asked me for my thoughts about a pass around of one of my Spyderco rebuilds.

I guess we could do that. I only have two that I did for myself though but so long as folks promised me they'd not abuse the things I don't mind sending them out to a select few to see so long as they meet the normal requirements for any other pass around here and agree to the same terms.

I figure we can do one with my current Tasman Salt in bead blasted aluminum and my Jess Horn ZDP189 Krein regind titanium slab folder if there is any interest in those. I mean if not thats fine. Those are all I have though currently.

As for my own requests: everyone needs to agree to ship it to the next guy using Priority mail, to be prompt about it, no excuses, and to insure them for $400 for both knives. If we can get an agreement to those as well as any others that the pass around forums dictate I would consent to letting my private knives out in the hands of a few. Oh, and also, no taking them apart. Not even if you know how. I don't want the next guy getting something I didn't do if you catch my drift.

Give me some feedback I guess, and we'll go from there.

Oh, and due to the fact that it can't be insured if it leaves the country, I'm sorry to my friends overseas but I don't think I want to risk my two personals to customs. Continental US only please.

Sorry, I know some will not like that but unfortunately I don't trust customs too much.

Heck yeah! Count me in!

STR, I think it's a wonderful idea. I'd like to carry an STR Custom for a few days to see how it handles.

Hi Andy. I figured the weekend was the reason no one replied. Seems like things die off a bit then to me but I could be wrong.

I'll give until tomorrow and see what happens.

I'm open to the possibility that no one is interested which is fine with me really. And it looks like someone else has brought it up already over at the pass around forum. Not mine so much but some of Tom's work which I was also trying to get out there so that might have more to do with it than anything else.

I should have read there before posting. Just didn't catch it.
