Ummmm...Before Dave gets a zinger up his poopchute, does anyone know offhand what the Forum Rules on passaround Knives are??? I know that there are rules, because I've seen other Forum members get smacked down for not following them... :(

trax
theres a sticky over in the general section there is a thread of passaround guide and rules

I thought it was simply within the group, whatever everyone agrees on, or maybe the person that owns the knife. But seems like keeping it about a week or less is the norm.

Owner is supposed to know who has it, who is getting it next, if next person reveived it, and who and when he sent it to the next.

The rules I read seem to be for the legal protection of Blade Forums.

This is a Buck knife

Being passed around to Buck collectors in the Buck Forum.

Seems it should be able to stay in the Buck Forum.

If it was some other knife and you were inviting anyone to review it, then maybe the passaround forum.

but what do I know....:o

Yes, but...It's Kevin's forum(s)...You want to play in his sandbox, you gotta play by his rules... ;)

(Maybe Dave could use code...yeah, that's it!!! And we can use our decoders to understand what he's saying!!!) Oy vay!!!

and strangely enough,,,I just reupped my gold membership a few minutes ago.....hummmm

Yup.....I read through some of the posts in passaround. Looks like others have been moved there from their "home" forum.

Dave,,,,I won't get on your passaround list for now.

Thanks for doing it tho!

well i did not know ti was such a deal
the knife has some changes to it so no warrenty
it is an old knife so if it is broke or damaged jest send parts back
all that is asked is to please send it to the next friend
then we wont call it a passaround becuse it is a shared knife
jest send it to a buck lover and have them post a opion
if it gets lost well then i am out a few bucks so what...
honor system will work i am sure as here we are not normal
we are buck nuts and bucklovers and share the same addicaton
lets do it and every one note
balde forms is not responable
i am not passing it around i am shareing it with you guys because
there are alpha grips on it were the wood was
it has a high gripablity
Joe said he liked the idear of it
and it is an attempt to have some pro's try it and see what they say
to get user feed back
so if there is a huraw in favor that it is good thing
as it may become a reg buck issue or
an option on the custom order form!

What a buzz kill.

"Hey!!! Teacher!!! You forgot to collect last night's homework!!!"

I dunno who has more demerits here, you or me, but I couldn't resist. You are correct that we should obey the rules of the house, but sometime peeps forget. As did I on this one until I read your post.
Not that it matters to me...I would never be involved in a passaround gig...same reason I would never be in a gang...I lack team spirit and motivation.
