Passed my MS test today

Guys I dont post much, mostly a lurker here. I passed my ABS Master Smith performance test today with Harvey Dean. Its been a great week for me, My wife gave birth to a baby girl last week, our first. And I passed the MS performance test today. I will go to Atlanta in 2009. Just wanted to share with you all. What a week! Congratulations on your baby Girl and passing the M.S. performance test.
Never even met you and I am sitting here with a huge smile on my face. Wow.

Having a few close friends who have gone for it, I know second hand, but very well the effort it takes to get where your are (knifemaking that is ;)).

See ya in ATL in 2009.

If I could offer some advice. Go ahead and get started on those knives as soon as things settle down. Take your time with them and keep 'em clean while getting input from others that have gone before you. Do not wait until Jan or Feb to start.

Congratulations Richard...I would need Prozac if I did both of those in one week. I know you are both excited and exhausted. What did ya'll name the girl?
