so I was out in the woods with a friend (and my 7) the other day. Let him use my 7 for a few mins, and he loved it. Later that day, he went home and placed a bid on a 7 on the internet. He says it's in good condition I haven't seen it yet. He won the knife for $72. I know many people are averse to the 7, but I really enjoy mine. Probably just because it's my first Becker and I haven't had a chance to use any others except the 2 lol. just figured I'd share that little story, because in my mind, any knife that can make somebody want to buy it after just a day in the woods is amazing. the Becker bug just may have another victim!

Oh, yeah. He's in for it. If they buy one... they'll buy 'em all. I'm doing the same thing to a guy I work with. He made the mistake, or most genius move ever, by saying, "I've been looking for a really good knife." Like anyone else he was blown away by the King.

Awesome! The becker bug is better between friends, because he could buy the ten, and you the two, and him the 11, and you the 14, etc and him the 4, and you the 9, and then if ya'll wanted, you could trade, or at least between the two of you you could find out exactly which ones are your favorite :-)

The contagion is real. Be warned. I bought my first Becker (a BK2) a little over a year ago. Here is the state of the infection now... LOL

I let my buddy at work play with the 4 tonight. He loved it. I'm betting he gets one before the end of the month.

lol i haven't had a chance to play with the 4 before but im sure it's a blast. Nice collection levernutt, what do you use to wrap your handles? And thank YOU Ethan, for providing us with quality knives!

My friend recieved his Becker yesterday, and He's having a ball. Turns out it was new. he got it for something around $72. :)

Thanks. I wrap them with orange hockey tape. Nice and grippy.

How come I don't see wear on most of those blades?:D

Right! Don't get out as much as I'd like and I do have my favorites. Whenever I think to break in the 7 or 2 I find myself reaching for the 9 or 10. And the 4 still intimidates me a little. ;)

Next project is to get the 5 and 15 stripped.
