Password not working on account-no email to reset.

All of a sudden my password stopped working in my original account. No email is being sent to reset despite the board saying that it is sending an email. I have sent an email to Spark Spark with no reply as well. I had to create a new account with a different email address. My old email address is Hotmail and no messages are going to junk, spam or anything. The forum email address is also in the safe senders list. I have no idea how to get back into that account.

Hotmail is part of Microsoft. Spark has had issues with Microsoft systems rejecting emails from BF. Doesn't even go to the junk folder, it just gets rejected. I don't know the current status on the issue.

None of the moderator staff has access to this data. Only Spark Spark , the owner can access that info.

If your membership is tied to a gmail account, use a PC to access your gmail account and check your spam folder. Mark any BF emails as "not spam". Gmail does not forward what it considers to be spam to phones, so it needs to be done from a PC.

If you use a mail service owned by Microsoft such as Outlook.com or Hotmail, the Microsoft system has been bouncing emails from BF without even sending them to spam. Spark's been trying to work the issue but does not yet have a solution. (We all know that MIcrosoft tends to be unhelpful with problems with their products.)
 
I'm still waiting for a response as to whether or not he can change my email address. That would solve this problem for me. I'm going on a few weeks now.

You might have tried checking some of the other threads reporting the same issue. Here's what Spark said in one of them:
If you can email from your account that you used for your paid subscription then I can make changes to your profile
 
I'm aware of that post. I simply asked if he could change my password or email address and he hasn't answered me. I've been locked out of my account for a month now. Thanks

Several times. Tagged him in posts as well.
Double check your 2FA code with Microsoft products. I’ve been following several of these threads for weeks, without creating a dupe account, requesting 2FA codes every other day or so and just got back in today.
Changing my email to another provider asap

MS has been causing grief across the internet with their email shenanigans. #Dayjob keeps me apprised of what's going on. I'm sure Spark is doing all he can.

The staff reached out to Spark.
He told us that for those with paid accounts, he can make a manual adjustment and change the associated email address.
1. Set up a new email account, not on Hotmail. Not on Outlook.com Not on any Microsoft mail server.
2. Email Spark from the account currently linked to your membership.
In the subject line, put your member name and "need email change".
In the text, provide to him the new email address.

If your old account is a registered member account, sorry, you will either have to wait, or start a new account.
 
It all makes sense now. If you don't pay, you don't play. I tried to use this account to make a listing and could not. Then I clicked on the tab that said that basic members were limited. Shame on you guys. I joined in 2019. It's not wonder that my emails and messages went unanswered. I don't have a problem with paying, just be upfront about it. I'll not be coming back any time soon.
