past knife offers

I don’t remember any knife being available to order between the FSH and Satin Jack TAC.

There have been limited runs like the Magnum EU-17s, but I don’t remember any standard models.

Keep in mind that there have been lots of military orders, and that this is bound to affect SJ delivery times.

The Mini EU-17s are already a month late, so I’d be happy/kind of surprised to see my SJ before New Year.
 
Maybe Jerry will chime in here and let us know whether the military buy a lot of standard knives.

My impression, from everything I’ve read around here, is that it is a combination of special orders for specific units, and individual purchases of standard models by soldiers.

KAAK, he's asking if they order from the menu, or a la carte.

Judging from what I've seen offered, I would bet they mostly run to specials, but that's just a WAG.

Yeah, my bad on that. Personally though, from my experience around soldiers and knives (Not claiming to have vast knowledge ;) ) My opinion would be that many troops order individual knives as the rest of us do (Most guys mention that the military issues very few knives out here in Anchorage for deployment). I see quite a few guys buying heavy duty fixed blades before they deploy. I would think this holds true in general. Anyway, I'm off to wander around
