Just got this mini Crawford frame lock with stag. Has anyone ever seen this size before? I have only seen the larger ones. It is sweet for a mini.

Nice knife! I've never seen one that small. I used to own one of his very large 5" blade frame locks like that. Quite a folder 1 piece handle with only 1 screw for the pivot. Wish I still had that one :(

Wow...very cool Rene. You should call Pat or Wes and see how many they made of those. I've never seen one under 2 3/4" blade length if I'm not mistaken...

Very nice my friend and thanks for sharing. I can just about guarantee this was a "one-off" special made to a customer's specification. Where did you pick it up at? Also, want to sell or trade it?

here is the reply i recve'd in my e-mail in regards to this knife.

"These were made from the early 1990's until about '96 or '97. I made around 50 and we are not making any right now. I have a few handles left over and may put them together in the next six months. The price will be around $275.00 to $300.00."

Well, shows how much I know! Still, very nice and Pat should make them a standard item. Especially if Mikey likes them! ;)

Not as small but Pat did not even remember doing any tanto framelocks. Chris Bad pic. with delica to compare size. Blade is 2 3/4" long.
