:DI love the Ecolite and have had 4 in total but gave a red 112 to a friend. I jumped right on board and got a 110 and 112 when they first came out. This was before they changed the pivot rivot to a washered version.

Both of them were a little tight and the blade could stop when closing rather than a good snap closing.

The 112 was definitely worse and when I got the new style 110, worked perfect.

As I said, I gave the 112 to a friend and was jonesing for another 112 and wanted green. I finally picked one up but when I got it, even though it was washered pivot, to my great surprise and disappointment it was stiffer than any so far. I washed and oiled to no avail, so I thought. I put it away and was going to send it back with some spa knives and it sat in my display for a couple months at least. I got it out to sent it back last week only to find out that the oil must have penetrated and cleaned out whatever gunk from production was causing the issue. To my delilght when I opened and closed it, it works slick as can be. I really liked this knife and was concerned about getting one replaced a little luck and procrastination save me the agravation:thumbup:
