Patina Update

Well, after approx 24 hrs the blade has really darkened up, and has taken on a fantastic look. I really like the way it looks now. I wish I had another one to do, as it was interesting. I wrapped it again as the other wrap smelled like citrus.

Sure... I'm think it's a basic weave, but I will load a video for you in a few:)

These two pictures that I added above are true to life (the two on the bottom). I'm having a hard time with my new camera, and getting the pictures to look good for some reason.

One of the nicest patina jobs I've seen. That is really beautiful.
 
Can you please tell me the name of the wrap style so i can look up how to do it?

This is how I wrap my BK14... The only difference is I do not go all the way around the lanyard hole like in the video. When you get to the point where he say's (your done) I feed both ends through the lanyard hole then back through the wrap. Then just cut, burn and flatten the ends. Hope this makes sense.
