Hello All.
Anyone out there own a knife (or knives), made by Patriot Bladewerx?
I've seen a few of their models online, but I've never heard/seen any feedback about their products.

Thanks for reading and for any info. you can provide.
Stay safe, birdave.

I know this post is going on a year old but I thought I'd chime in. I am an employee at Patriot. They are made in Kingsport Tennessee. Wolfgang Loerchner is the designer for all of the current models. I'm not going to give a schill review, but I'll be happy to answer any questions that you might have.

I know it’s now two years old, but got to chime in cause i was so impressed by these. I got to own one for a few days, a Lincoln with blue g10 scales that was theoretically “used” so I got a great price on it.

It carried really well, fit my hands perfectly and comfortably, and the machining, fit and finish seemed very high quality to me. It sure felt smooth when opening and closing it, and the lock seems really solid and dependable. I kind of think it may have been my dream come true for an all around Alaskan hunting and backcountry knife. I think that blue might even be a better color than orange for ease of locating it when setting it on a hummock next to a moose carcass to rest. (I’ve seen more than a few knives disappear into the foliage) I loved it but my son loved it even more and it got reapportioned off to college;). I plan to get another, but am trying to time it when no other family members are around to talk me out of it!

Just looked at their website, they are asking a lot of money for ordinary materials and not a lot of info. I think I'd rather spend my money on something else.

$500 for a knife that looks like it shouldn't cost more than $200

Sounds like Ill have to do more research on materials, what do you recommend that’s similar but with better materials?

Or an Umnumzaan!

You folks sure have an affinity for them metal handles don’t you;). (Plus, at least a couple of you can obviously tell you’ve got me just the scantest distance from trying an Umnumzaan) I guess I’m gonna just have to man up about the cold hands and see what it is that I’ve been missing!

I remember as a kid, my dad and uncles all swore by those Gerber armorhide fixed blades, I felt like such a stud when dad gave me my first one... and that thing was soooo cold to hold, but I didn’t dare to let on in front of them:)

Possibly checkout a hinderer. You will have g10 on one side so it’s not as cold to the hand. The gen6 with triway pivot seem to flip a lot better then older generations. They can be had in m390 and cpm20cv blade steel. Not really sure maybe some are available in s35vn. A handful of different blade grinds to choose from. As far as cold crk knives look for a knife art version of the sebenza you like and it has carbon fiber show side scale.

Have to admit I'm very curious about these. Wolfgang Loerchner is in the upper tier of designers. My bet is that he wouldn't put his name on crap.

like most, what's holding me back is the lack of reviews and price. But I'm still curious. Not enough in the wild to pick up second hand yet.

I like the look of the senator with Westinghouse micarta or the ambassador with thunderstorm Kevlar. But that price seems a little steep imo

Post some pics of your knife!

Werx was a pretty common word used by a lot of high end tuner shops way before leetspeak and the urban dictionary.

It doesn't bug me as long as what's coming off the bench is nice stuff.

Trust me, that’s a cold son-of-a-gun in a 12 year olds hands in the snow;)

This is a web photo from the Patriot Bladewerx site of the model I had for that brief while until my son talked me out of it;).

It sure felt good in the hand and to my feel, cycled as smoothly as my Spartans, that Shirogorov, my Hinderers, or any of the others I’ve been able to compare it with.

I figure with that blue color it’ll be easy to see in the snow or brush on this springs bear hunt and I can repossess it from him if I’m cagey enough;)

Well, it's a proper noun and those don't follow the common rules of spelling.

Do you feel the same about Spyderco?
