Patriotic American traditional knife July challenge

[Hickory n steel]

The idea is to only carry American made knives throughout the month of July, especially if those American made knife or knives are patriotic themed.



I will be starting the month off with this SPIRIT OF AMERICA lady liberty Buck 525 gent from 2003.


I have all 3 of the different patriotic Gents that Buck offered and will be rotating through them, 10 days each should do.

I've been carrying some sort of Buck every day for about two years now. I might be able to make it through July. I dunno, though.

I try, but when it comes to knives I do have a few from Europe and japan.
that's why I make it a point for the knives I carry in July to be patriotic themed, otherwise nothing would really be different.

I decided to switch it up a bit, I threw this red BSA Case 08 half whittler in the mix and will put one of the other 3 Buck gents into my pocket next week.
