Where are they gonna be made? It would however be cool if the patrol were to be made in south America for the sake of going og.Sometime in 2013. I cant wait to get one. Alonge with the brute. Just wish they were made in the US though.
Aside from one of my favorite machetes the Ontario...I do love the tramontinas...it would be pretty cool to forge a patrol in south America using the climate, the water, mineralization of the water and just the overall atmosphere and spirit..know what I mean?.I would LOVE a U.S. made Patrol Machete & Brute. I can honestly say that I would happily pay an extra $20 for each to get 'em made in America. Made here in the U.S. is one reason I love Becker knives. And to have anything as important as the 6 & 1's re-introduction made anywhere else would be a huge disappointment.
Not saying I wouldn't buy one made in Taiwan or S. A. just wouldn't be nearly as excited about it.
PLEASE, PLEASE,PLEASE, gimme an American made 6 & a 1 for Christmas..... or Easter.![]()
I got to use the Kabar Grass Machete this weekend (thanks Twinstick!:thumbup, and it splits kindling with ease. I wonder if a Becker machete would be thick like the Kabar, or thinner and more flexible like a Tramontina. I'm guessing thick and tough, like all the BK line.
