Pattern number?

here is another one that I found in a second hand store in eureka utah. I can't figure out what the pattern number is on it and I'd also like to know if someone knows what the scale material is. Is it celluloid?

It would be an 807 or 808 with what Schrade Walden called Marine Pearl. It is a nice imitation simulated pearl, celluloid or similar. I can't fine it in the catalogs with those handles and the three blades. Does it have milled liners? They also made them with rough black, bone stag, yellow celluloid, and stratawood handles too. The rough black they called "stagged" was simply called "Number 8" in the 1947. Same pattern as the Uncle Henry 807UH and Old Timer 108OT. Probably a 50's or 60's knife.

I found similar results. I thought 808, but couldn't find any mention of this handle material for those patterns. Liners are not milled

I can't make out the tang stamp. Is this a Schrade Cut. Co. knife? If so, the pattern nomenclature would be different from the late Schrade Walden (post-1946). In 1971, A.G. Russell reprinted the 1926 Schrade Cut Co catalog and it has excellent illustrations as well as explanations of the Schrade brothers' numbering system. It has been scanned and archived online by member lrv if you do not have a copy.

It is a photo rendering of Elvis at age 77 as he would appear today. I am using it for a while as a public service. Be on the lookout for this guy. It is time for him to put out another Christmas album. He may even be disguised as Santa.
