Pattern production finale?

I just came across a GEC 2007 53 stockman with the blade etch 'pattern production finale'. Has anyone got any record of when this blade etch was used and why it finished?

I have a couple of them, and they all are from 2007.

Hmmm. Pretty sure they made Cuban Stockmans again in 2008.

They sure did. Reminds me of some rock bands that have had farewell tours only to come back and tour again 2 years later.

I think the PPF refers to the last handle combo for the production run. They made Cuban stockmen both in 2008 and again in 2011, but never again did the Pattern Production Finale blade etch.
