Paul Chen Banshee Cutting Sword

It's a bit more than a machete (much better). I'm not really a fan of swords, but I like this a lot. It's well made, and takes a beating fairly well. I never personally abused it, but after giving it to my then 15 year old nephew, it got used plenty. Ya' know what? Two years on and it's still going strong! The blade has had a few chips, but nothing major (I pretty much sharpened them out for him). To be honest, I will probably end up picking up another one (right after I get myself a Fallkniven A2)!

I have cut with a dozen or so pual chen swords, mostly katanas. They all cut ok. All of them needed sharpening (traditional hand polishing in the case of the katanas) to be fully functional for cutting. I found the handle dimensions to be a bit large but other than that they were all a good value for the money. I have never cut with this particular sword but maybe the input on the brand in general can help some.
