Paul Chen Practical Ninja Sword

What do you intend to use it for?
---hacking trees and going through car hoods - Badger Blades
---cutting pool noodles - would work okay.
---MA practice - nope. There is a really nice model (Kambun Shinto) over at DGuertin.com but I cannot recommend him because of lack of communication and inconsistent delivery.

Another option could be the korean sword from Kris Cutlery.

Good luck and stay safe.

If you want something that will cut well I would recommend a curved blade. Curved blades can still thrust well into targets. Even a very expensive sword can be damaged by smacking against another sword blade, but since neither of those swords list a specific steel type I don't think they will hold up to abuse very well. If you are wanting to practice, take some Kenjutsu and buy a shinai, you wont regret it.

had the first type that came out was haking trees and 5 inchs of the tip broke off clean ( I know I'm a dumb ass don't remind me )
